Masonic Home contestants limber up for the Star-Telegram's 18th Golden Gloves tournament. Left to right, Light Heavyweight Joe Lloyd, Bantamweight Johnny Reed and Featherweight Max Blankenship. Lloyd was all-district football player at fullback. Other two were halfbacks. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition January 9, 1954.
