A. S. Pearson, right, veteran of 40 years with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, was presented with a garden tractor. At the left is P. E. Porterfield, district construction foreman, who presented the tractor on behalf of Pearson's friends. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 8, 1954.
