Description
George M. Jennings, standing at left, is talking it over with three of his 112 Oklahoma City Times carrier-salesmen who ate breakfast in the Hotel Texas coffee shop, on their way home from a trip to Gavelston they won in a newspaper subscription contest. Seated are Jimmy Hick, left, and Tommy Morgan, both of Oklahoma City, and standing by Jennings is Sam Kasbaum of Norman. They started home early early from their four-day trip because of the impending railroad firemen's strike. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition May 10, 1950.
