Mrs. Jack Christian, 3729 Ave. H, holds her 8-pound son, the first infant born in Fort Worth in 1954. The baby, unnamed because the parents were expecting a girl, was born at 20 seconds after midnight. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, January 1, 1954.
