Chief Sheriff's Deputy Johnson, center, takes Rita Davis to jail as Sid Foley, right, rubs his unshaven jowls reflectively. The Davis woman later was released on $1,000 bond on a receiving and concealing stolen property charge. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, December 31, 1953.
