Amon Carter Jr., right, accepts the "Salesman's Sammy" award from A. M. Pate Jr., for his father, Amon Carter. Carter was given the award at the 25th annual Distinguished Salesmen's Award Banquet for being "the outstanding salesman of Fort Worth for 1953".
