Texas Tech rooters who stopped briefly in Fort Worth while their special Pullman was being switched to another train were, left to right, Mrs. Madlyn Clark Pfluger of Eden, Mrs. Allen Dykes of Abilene, Dykes, a Tech ex, and Pfluger, a member of the Tech board and a former student of the school. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 30, 1953.
