Part of the group which came through Fort Worth aboard a special T&P Pullman en route to the Gator Bowl and Texas Tech's clash with Auburn there New Year's Day were, left to right, Mrs. Theo Lamb of Snyder, Mrs. Ray Fuqua of Ballinger and Faqua, a former Southern Methodist University football player who is giving his support to Tech in its out-of-state clash. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 30, 1953.
