    Description

    Reverend Bruce Vawter of St. Louis will give an illustrated lecture on "The Search for Peter's Tomb" at St. Alice parish auditorium. The free lecture is being sponsored by the parish's National Council of Catholic Women and National Council of Catholic Men. Father Vawter, a convert to the Catholic faith, spent three years in Rome. He will show official pictures taken by archaeologists who worked under St. Peter's Cathedral from 1939 to 1950. He is professor of sacred scripture at Kenrick Seminary at St. Louis.
