Description
Desperado Norman Davenport is escorted into the Fort Worth jail by Traffic Sergeant Lawrence E. Wood, who helped arrest the Oklahoma prison escaper aboard a T&P train at Arlington. Davenport, who swore he'd never be taken alive, surrendered without struggle. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 27, 1953.
