Description

Donations for the Fort Worth Council for Retarded Children replaced exchange of gifts at a Christmas party given by Mr. and Mrs. Herman Jones at their home, 2144 S. Jennings, Christmas Eve. Making their contributions in a decorated brandy sniffer are, left to right, Mrs. Frank Bass of Abilene, Mrs. J. E. Madden of 4709 Calmont, and Mrs. G. A. Nowell of 2148 S. Jennings Ave. A total of $36.80 was collected. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, December 24, 1953.
