Three Lena Pope Home children, Teddy Mason, left, Billy Ray Moore and Jeannie Morris, celebrate Christmas early with Ralph Harris, president of Monnig's Distributive Education Club. The youngsters were adopted by the DE club as its Christmas project and received clothes and toys from the store's Santa at a party. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 24, 1953.
