Members of the Midway Lions Club began distributing grocery baskets to the needy in an effort to make Christmas merrier for more people. Standing near a truck full of food baskets are, left to right, O. D. Steward, W. T. Layton, Bill Davis, Elmer James, Pete White and G. L. Edwards. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 24, 1953.
