Description
This picture, first ever taken for publication of a closed meeting of Fort Worth Alcoholics Anonymous, shows members when they met recently in Public Library. The anonymity phase of the AA movement is optional with the individual member and is not maintained for the sake of anonymity itself but to encourage members to subordinate their personalities to the organization's principles. Published in the Fort Worth morning edition, May 7, 1950.
