Pictured is a portion of the toys gathered in Valley View Addition by the staff of Bucco Homes. The collection was presented to Mrs. Lena Pope, center, founder of the Lena Pope Home. Others shown are, left to right, Charlie Barber of the maintenance department, Mrs. Faye McBurney, manager, Bill Pope, superintendent of the Pope Home, and Thomas J. Rogers Jr., who helped collect the toys. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 22, 1953.
