Description

Deputy Sheriff Patrolman Bobby Morton inspecting crumpled wreckage of the car in which William A. Wegwert, 19, of Houston was killed on U. S. Highway 287 early Sunday December 20. Wegwert's cousin Ralph A. Laskoski, also from Houston suffered serious injuries. Officers believe the car hit a soft should south of the bridge and spun off the road into the creek bed below the bridge. The boys were headed to Azle from Houston to spend the Christmas holidays with friends.
