Description
Shirley Evans, 15 years old sophomore student at Arlington High School, goes back to her own stitching and needle work, after surgeons removed a tumor "as big as volley ball" from her abdomen. The mass weighted five to six pounds. Surgeons says this is a tumor type rarely seen in the liver. It was so rare that it is not recorded in 15 major medical textbooks. She is at St. Joseph's Hospital. Shirley Evans is seating sewing.
