The family of the City Councilman Carleton swarmed around him after a jury acquitted him of an arson charge. At extreme left is his daughter, Sharon, 19; behind her is daughter Patsy, 17. Mrs. Carleton is facing her husband as he prepares to talk with one of his attorneys, Hal Lattimore, seated at the counsel table.
