Donnie Fleeman, center, Texas Golden Gloves heavyweight champion, started training for the 1954 campaign at the Golden Gloves-National Guard gym. Left is Oliver Ball, gym director, and right, Gene Ritchmond, gym manager. Fleeman has reduced willbox as light-heavyweight in regional meet. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 17, 1953.
