Carroll Shelby (11) and Roy Scott (88), early pace-setters in the feature sports car race at Eagle mountain National Guard base, cut it close and tight around a hay bale turn. Shelby finished second to Riddelle Gregory, Scott dropped out with transmission troubles on the 19th lap.
