Jay M. Axtell, right, was active worker in Hemphill Presbyterian Church for 17 years, and his pastor, Reverend Robert Boshen, are shown at the altar of the Mattie Axtell memorial Chapel. The chapel and furnishings were given by Axtell in memory of his mother.
