Early arrivals for the Baptist Training Union convention were Mrs. William E. Young of Beamount; Dr. J. Ralph Grant, center, of Lubbock, John McLaughlin of Corpus Christi and Patsy Ann Strother of Kermit. Dr. Grant was keynote speaker at the convention's opening sessions in Will Rogers Memorial Auditorium.
