Three officials of the order of the Eastern Star check final preparations for the reception which opened the social schedule of the 71st annual session of the state organization. Left to right are Mrs. Mary Ella Schoverling of Houston, associate grand matron of Texas, Mrs. Mildred Garlitz of Fort Worth, worthy grand matron, and Mrs. Mildred Harris of Arlington, right worthy grand associate conductress.
