Description
An Indian Pied Hornbill, a rare and valuable bird, was among the latest shipment of exhibits for Forest Park Zoo. The bird from India has a large bill with a casuqe - which looks like another bill, on top. Although the bills look solid and heavy, they have hundreds of air cells inside which make the beak very light.
