Description
Cat's pitcher Carroll Beringer, looking at his bandaged burned hand, would be unable to pitch again during the regular season. He was at the home of friends for dinner when he tripped over an iron cord, picked up the iron and found it was still hot, burning four fingers on his throwing hand. The Cats will deploy a replacement for the injured pitcher until he recovers.
