    Description

    J. H. Mims, 68, an arthritis patient and favorite of the children on the playground at Meadow Wood Park, was honored, closing days of the recreation department's vacation program. The children dressed up as "Native Americans" and staged a pow wow, naming Mims as "Mighty Chief". He has been general helper this summer to the playground director, Mrs. Frances Prickett.
