Initial planning for a statewide campaign to promote a wider use of the state song, "Texas, Our Texas", was the order of business at a meeting at the School Administration Building. Among representatives of educational and civic groups present were, seated, left to right, Joe P. Moore, superintendent of schools; Mrs. Delbert Taylor, Texas Federation of Music Clubs; Mrs. Terell F. Mashburn, Fort Worth Council, P-TA; standing, E. Clyde Whitlock, Texas Christian University and Star-Telegram, and William J. Marsh, composer of the song.
