Description
Tallie A. Groce, Webb farmer, grower of Tarrant County's first bale of cotton for 1953, examines some of his cotton after it had run through the new Webb Co-Op Gin. Weight of the bale after ginning was 467 pounds. He believes he'll make 75 bales off 140 acres of cotton this year. He operates a 160-acre farm a half mile west from here. He will be honored by the Fort Worth Farm and Ranch Club.
