Description

Beef carcasses from cattle donated by West Texas ranchers for shipment to Europe for hungry war victims are inspected here by Sol Rosenthal, left, and Walter O. Parr, right, at City Packing Company where 279 head were processed for the Christian Rural Overseas Program without charge. The meat will be shipped from Houston by CROP for distribution in central Europe by Church World Service. Parr is CROP regional director.
