Description
Roy A. Bateman, assistant city secretary, heaved a big sigh of relief when he headed more than 60,000 copies of proposed charter amendments for the November 7th election here toward the post office. Under the law, all eligible voters must be mailed a copy of the proposals 30 days before voting date.
