Description

Sweetwater's intake tower at the Oak Creek Lake, 31 miles south of the city in Coke County, with caretaker's residence at left. The new lake now contains 13,000 acres feet of water. When filled to spillway crest the 3,900-foot long and 92-foot high dam will impound 40,000 acre feet.
