Description
The gypsum plant, built in 1923 and expanded in 1947 and 1951, has been described as the world's largest producer of mineral wallboard. The cement plant, which started operations in January 1952, with a capacity of 4200 barrels of cement a day, is increasing its capacity by 50 percent.
