Russell Cornelison, a business man from Louisville Kentucky, is shown oiling up his 1901 Oldsmobile in preparation for continuing his trip to Los Angeles. The 50-year-old auto, Cornelison said, is weathering the trip better than its 50-year-old owner. Published in the morning edition, May 2, 1950.
