These two 14-year-old McLean Junior High artists have a right to smile they each won a $50 first award in the 1950 National Scholastic Art Award competition and will have their work hung in the annual high school student exhibition in the Fine Arts Galleries at Carnegie Institute, Pittsburgh. Left, Shirley Hillard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Hillard, 3617 Country Club Circle, and right, Charles Dubuis, son of Mrs. E. P. Dubuis, 700 nineth Avenue.
