Mr. and Mrs. Myles Sweeny, from Ireland, celebrate their golden anniversary after 50 years of marriage to one another. Myles and his wife, Jennie, grew up on adjoining farms, and eventually traveled together to the American Southwest. Mr. Sweeny operated a grocery business for 30 years, and at the time of this photo, worked with the Blackstone Hotel. Published in the morning edition, May 1, 1950.
