Description

Looking north, this photo shows work on the North-South Freeway unit that will run between E. Rosedale and E. Lancaster. Rosedale is shown, running left to right, near the photo's bottom. Lancaster runs just above the railroad tracks at the picture's top. The freeway was built over Rosedale and under Hattie, E. Vickery Blvd. and Lancaster. A pedestrian crossway was built over the freeway at Stella. The entire freeway unit from Rosedale to Lancaster, costing about $1,500,000, was scheduled for completion within a year.
