    Dr. Jim Camp of Pecos, a 72-year-old self-proclaimed "country doctor" was named "General Practitioner of the Year" by the House of Delegates of the State Medical Association of Texas. The action came at the initial session of the House opening the 83rd annual meeting of the State Medical Association at Blackstone Hotel. Published in the morning edition, May 1, 1950.
