Description

The Eagle Mountain National Guard Base car race is staged jointly by the Eagle Mountain National units and the Fort Worth-Dallas Sports Car Club, aims to provide funds for the guardsmen's recreation and athletic equipment needs. A wide and weird variety of vehicles answering to the general description of sports car at the race. Here, Chuck Bowen's highly-altered MG is one of fastest in under-1,000 c. c. class. The MG is the most popular of sports car with conventional 4-cylinder engine.
