L. J. (Buster) Saling, center, told his mother, Mrs. Josie Saling, left, he would "be okay" Friday as deputies led him into county jail. Saling is under indictment for the murder of his estranged wife. A physician says a self-inflicted bullet wound has changed the man's personality. At right is Sheriff's Deputy Jim Floyd. At far right is an unidentified man.
