Description
The stage of the city's recreation building was set with sewing machines last week for the making of a giant flag to be used in the recreation department's August 14 circus. Mrs. T. J. Mathers of 1626 Worth, left, and Mrs. Ruth Simmons of 3405 Ada are shown beginning the job of combing almost 300 yards of red, white and blue material.
