Description
Dr. Jack Woodward and two Australian Greyhounds valued at $15,000. Dr. Woodward traveled over 27,000 miles to get "Miss Oakey" a 58-pound fawn brindle greyhound, and "Mar Heat," her 72-pound soulmate. He does not own them but was requested the travel and purchase by a friend, millionaire coal magnate L. M. Kirkpatrick of Memphis, Tennessee. The dogs are housed in Kirkpatrick's extensive kennel south of Denton, who trains and prepares them for racing tracks.
