Description
This crowd of National Guardsmen admire a buddy's adhesive patch after giving blood to the Red Cross blood for Korea drive Sunday. They're all members of the 49th Armored Division. Left to right, Private Elton Harwell, Corporal Charles Travis, Sergeant Jesse Gadberry, Sergeant Francisco Mendez and Private Russell Hunn. Most volunteers to the emergency call to give blood for Korean casualties were from the National Guardsmen. The Red Cross blood center was open Sunday, July 12.
