Hedy McGuire, left, offers Betty Pruitt some water after 50-yard freestyle race which Betty won. Betty is one of the 5 girls on the swim team representing the Pather Boys Club. Hedy, who recently came to this country from French Morrocco, was second. The city swimming meet was conducted at the Marine Park pool.
