Image shows officers surrounding a small chicken house where fugitive Lawrence Byrom was believed to be hiding. Neighbors had said that Byrom was spotted at dusk near the house, seven miles south of Boyd Texas, however, officers found nothing in the house but several dozen chickens. Published in the evening edition, April 28, 1950.
