Description

A survey Tuesday studied the possibility of unstopping the silt and debris-clogged old West Fort channel of the Trinity River to eliminate present water wasting and round-about route Fort Worth's water supply must follow when released from Eagle Mountain Lake Dam. Low water level of Lake Worth is revealed by expanse of sandbars and "high and dry" Greer Island in stump-studded north end of lake. Pool above white broken line is a part of Eagle Mountain Lake in spillway region.
