Ms. Tad Lucas, a cowgirl grandmother, in the process of becoming a rodeo clown, is shown with her trick riding horse, Kitty. Lucas is sitting on the barrel that the late Ralph "Jasbo" Fulkerson, Fort Worth Stock Yard rodeo clown and bullfighter, used to fight Brahman bulls. Published in the evening edition, April 27, 1950.
