    Description

    Stephenville State Bank opened for its first day of business in a new building. The new buildings's featured is a 48-ton air-conditioner. The structure 52 ft wide and 104 feet long includes a community room for club meetings, a kitchen and coffee room. The bank occupies the first floor of a two-story building cost of $135,000. C. H. Maguire Jr., vice president and cashier, inspects a massive portal to the new bank building's vault.
