Description

Silage can be put up in bales if farmers do not have field cutters. This silage was cut with a mower, wind-rowed with a swatter and then baled with a slicer baler. Bales are about half the size of dry bale, weigh about 90 pounds. The picture was taken at the Noble Foundation Farm at Ardmore, Oklahoma.
