Description
Jack Porter of Houston Republican National committeeman told the Star-Telegram by phone that he would make a recommendation to Washington for the appointment of a U.S. attorney for the northern district of Texas. He did not divulge the name of the man who will replace the Democrat Frank B. Potter. It appeared that Heard L. Floore, an assistant city attorney of Fort Worth had won the indorsement.
