Burning the mortgage on Waples Hall, two past presidents, Mmes. R. E. Cox, left, and O. R. Grogan, center, and Mrs. A. M. Campbell, president of the Woman's Club, closed the luncheon. The Waples Hall project was begun under Mrs. Cox's administration and was completed during Mrs. Grogan's.
